A modern method for determining the genetic potential of dairy cattle breeds is genomic evaluation. The most important factor in animal breeding is the technological conditions of housing and producing milk. Therefore, analyzing genomic prediction of Holstein heifers under various technological conditions of housing and milking is highly relevant. Current research was carried out in 2022-2024 at the Agricultural Production Cooperative (kolkhoz) “Udmurtia” in the Vavozhsky District of the Udmurt Republic. The breeding value of 204 heifers was determined on genomic evaluation and economic Milk Breeding Index (MBI). Depending on its value, five groups were formed: I – animals with a negative economic index value up to 0 rubles, II – from 1 to 10,000 rubles, III – from 10,001 to 20,000 rubles, IV – from 20,001 to 30,000 rubles, and V – 30,001 rubles and above. The evaluation of the genomic prediction was carried out under different technological conditions of the enterprise during the first lactation. The highest genetic potential was observed under loose housing with robotic milking (on average 121.3 %), and the level was consistently high for all groups, regardless of their breeding value. Under tie-stall housing, the genetic potential was also high (119.1 %), but the lowest results were noticed with “Karusel” (114.4 %) and “Evroparallel” (101.6 %) milking systems. The best genetic potential for milk fat content was achieved under loose housing and milking on the “Evroparallel” system (on average 111.7 %). The worst results were recorded during robotic milking (on average 92.4 %). For milk protein content, the maximum genetic potential was observed under tie-stall housing (on average 105.0 %). For high-value animals (MBI > 30,001 rubles), the “Karusel” and “Evroparallel” milking systems also showed good results. Robotic milking provided firm but the lowest genetic potential (101.2 %).
