Abstract The relevance of the research is substantiated by the key role of spring wheat in food securi-ty, animal husbandry, and industry. The present study focuses on optimizing spring soft wheat cultivation technologies to determine the characteristics of the manifestation of the main structural elements of bio-logical yield and to substantiate the optimal level of technology intensification that ensures high potential crop productivity. As a result, it can be noted that all varieties of spring soft wheat realize a higher poten-tial of biological yield when grown on the background of an intensive technology, which includes: unified methods of primary and pre-sowing soil cultivation; comprehensive plant protection: seed treatment (Vial Trio – 10 L/t), treatment with a tank mixture of herbicide + fungicide (Balerina Super, suspension emulsion (SE) – 0.5 L/ha + Kolosal PRO, microemulsion (ME) – 0.4 L/ha), treatment with a tank mixture of fungicide + insecticide (Kolosal PRO, ME – 0.4 L/ha + Borey, suspension concentrate (SC) – 0.1 L/ha). Application of mineral fertilizers according to the scheme: N16 P16 K16 at sowing + N68 for top dressing.
Keywords: wheat, spring soft, yield, structural elements, productive stems, number of grains per ear, 1000-grain weight.
