The work contains materials of laboratory research of the seed metering system of the roller seed drill with a disk-shaped partition, which was carried out on a soil test stand. The research was aimed at improving the quality indicators for sowing the soybean variety "Sireliya". As a result of the research, dependencies are obtained in the form of graphical representations of projections of two-dimensional sections of a response surface. The given graphical representations of projections of two-dimensional sections of the response surface show the dependencies of quality indicators of sowing on the design and mode parameters of the developed seed metering system of the roller seed drill with a disk-shaped partition, for example, the rotation of the given roller, the value of the inclination of its flutes, the height of the edges of the fluted roller, which allow to improve the quality of sowing of soybeans of the "Sireliya" variety. The stand tests carried out in the soil channel made it possible to determine the optimal values of the design and mode parameters investigated: the rotations of the roller with a disk-shaped partition (n = 9.2...12.1min-1); the value of the inclination of the flutes of the roller with a disk-shaped partition (α = 29.6...32, deg); the height of the edges of the fluted roller with a disk-shaped partition (h = 9...13.5 mm), where the optimization parameter is 14.5 %.
